The P&C is a group of volunteers who wish to support the education of children attending our school. The P&C is you - the parents, carers, citizens and staff linked to Narraweena Public School.
Our school is very fortunate to have a strong parent community who are actively involved with school activities, fundraising initiatives and volunteer committees. We are always looking for new volunteers to help us.
Through fundraising and social activities the P&C raises funds to support programs for the maintenance and improvement of the school, sporting needs and for obtaining educational resources.
Meetings are usually held on the THIRD TUESDAY of each month from 7:00pm. You are most welcome to come along to our next meeting to see how it works.
If you cannot make the P&C meetings this does not mean that you can’t volunteer in another role.
Our P&C run school canteen is always looking for extra hands to help them out. The kids love to see you during their school day and this is such a treat for them. Without all the wonderful volunteers our school canteen would not be able to operate the counter sales during recess and lunch and this would be a great pity as we know our children wouldn’t cope without that ice block on those hot summer days!
The school uniform shop is always welcoming new hands to help serve. They are open every Tuesday afternoon 2:30 - 3:30pm and Thursday morning 8:30-9:30am.
Our P&C is incorporated through The Federation of Parents and Citizens’ Associations of NSW.
Don’t wait for the changes you would like to see … come to the meetings and help make them happen! We have a very strong, friendly and supportive P&C. Please come along and find out what is happening at our school and volunteer if the right opportunity arises for you!
